Initiatives to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and requests for our guests

At Here TOKYO ASAKUSA, as a basic policy for safety and security regarding COVID-19, we have established three service standards to ensure thorough ‘avoidance of the Three Cs*’ and ‘hygiene management,’ and we will implement measures against infectious diseases for each.
  • Prevention of contact infection
  • Prevention of droplet infection
  • Thorough awareness for infection prevention

Requests for our guests

  • To ensure that our guests can use our facilities with peace of mind, we ask for your cooperation with temperature checks and hand sanitization upon arrival.
  • We politely ask that guests who have a fever, feel unwell, or have recently (within approximately 2 weeks) been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 refrain from visiting the hotel.
  • We ask that you wear a mask when visiting and in public areas. (*Following guidelines from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, as of March 13, 2023, the wearing of masks within the hotel is at the discretion of the guest.)
  • When waiting in line at the front desk or riding in elevators, please maintain a safe distance. We appreciate your cooperation with social distancing.
  • When making payments, we recommend using credit cards or contactless payment services rather than cash. Additionally, we will use cash holders or trays when receiving and returning money.

Hotel Initiatives

Check-in/Check-out

To avoid person-to-person contact, we will implement queue management to maintain spacing and avoid close-range contact with staff.

Guest Rooms Public Spaces

  • Thorough Ventilation

We will ensure frequent and thorough ventilation throughout the entire building, including guest rooms and public areas.

  • Thorough Cleaning and Disinfection

We will conduct thorough disinfection and cleaning of guest rooms and all hotel facilities. In guest rooms, we carefully disinfect frequently touched surfaces. We also apply the same thorough measures to shared areas such as elevators.

  • Cleaning During Consecutive Stays

From the perspective of reducing the risk of contact infection, cleaning staff will only enter guest rooms during consecutive stays if requested by the guest.
